A nonprofit
built to
Dream Seeker Homes Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Phoenix and Gilbert, Arizona area that designs and builds affordable, basic homes for veterans. Veterans can buy a home with the VA loan they earned in service, or rent with their VASH voucher until the nonprofit can help them purchase.
The mission statement
To design and build affordable, basic homes for veterans, where a veteran can buy using the VA loan they earned while serving, or rent using their VASH vouchers until the nonprofit can help them financially purchase the home.
That is the whole mission, and we try to keep the whole operation just as plain and honest. Affordable means a price a VA loan can actually carry. Basic means no wasted space, no wasted money, no features that push a veteran out of the market. Vets have earned the right to a home, not to a sales pitch.
We are not a charity that hands out vouchers for someone else's properties. We are builders, Realtors, and investors who put our own expertise on the line to create homes designed for the veteran buyer from the first floor plan to the final key.
What it means in practice
Three
A price a veteran can carry
We target homes under $180,000, small and efficient enough to appraise inside a VA loan's reach on a modest income.
Two ways in, one way forward
Move in by buying with the VA loan you earned, or rent with a HUD-VASH voucher. Both paths point toward ownership.
Help until the deed is yours
For renters, the nonprofit works to help them financially purchase the home they live in, so rent becomes equity.
Our history
From an idea to
Incorporated. Dream Seeker Homes Inc is incorporated in Arizona by professional Realtors and investors who saw the need for affordable homes for veterans and wanted to create sensible economic solutions and a real community.
The mission is set. Small, affordable, basic homes under $180,000, open to veterans through VA loans and VASH vouchers, with a path from renting to owning.
Raising the build. We are raising the funds that turn blueprints into foundations, lining up land, and welcoming the volunteers and partners who make the first homes possible.
Keys in hand. Breaking ground, handing over keys, and repeating the mission until every veteran who wants a home has one they can afford.
